COURT OFFICER BASICS
Court Officer and Tactic Medic Basic Firearms Training
December 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9, 2022

This course is designed to provide basic semi-automatic training for bailiffs, court security officers, court constables, officers, tactical medics, and other applicable personnel.
Registrants must attend ALL classes.
This training will meet all the requirements for firearm certification.
This course meets the requirement for tactical medics to qualify for the OPOTA TMP-Decision Making Under Stress Course. Upon completion of this course and the OPOTA TMP-Decision Making Under Stress Course, the medic will be qualified to perform their duties as an armed medic per department policy.
Participants will need to bring their semi-automatic weapon, a minimum of 900 rounds of ammunition, duty holster, 3 magazines, magazine holder, eye and hearing protection, a hat, and body armor if issued. Dress for the weather. Day one will be all classroom help in room 203 of the Public Safety Services Building at Hocking College. The remainder of the class will be held at the tactical training facility.

Cost of the class is $650 (+ $39 convenience fee).
*Additional cost of $200 if buying ammo from Hocking College (+ $51 convenience fee).
If invoice is the chosen method of payment, you will receive an invoice from our fiscal department within 1 week of registration date.
